WHAT TO EXPECT
All tackle, equipment, and baits for fishing are provided. We have ample cooler space with ice for your drinks and snacks as well as a separate cooler space with ice for your fish.
Our charters are perfect for anglers of all ages, no matter your experience. Whether you're a hard-core angler or looking to spend some quality time with the family and kids, you're bound to have a fun, exciting, and memorable fishing experience. Captain Scooter is dedicated to having fun, being safe, and making memories that will last a lifetime while you are on the water.
You will need to purchase a North Carolina fishing license before your trip. The easiest way to purchase a license is to use the NC Wildlife Resource Commission's online licensing system by clicking here or you can call 1-800-662-7137.
What you need to bring: All that you need to bring is your food and drink for the day, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and appropriate clothing. If you are booked during the keeper season (before April 30) and you plan on keeping your limit of stripers, please bring a cooler with ice to take your fish home.
Tips are not required, but if you feel the captain has worked hard to provide you a memorable and enjoyable experience, it is customary to tip 15-20%. We strive to give you the best fishing experience and hope to take you on another trip!
